John Day has 3 somewhat difficult trails
totaling 16 miles and is in a 10 mile radius
around the town of John Day. It is open in the
summer and fall. The managing agency is Malheur

BLUE MOUNTAIN OHV TRAIL has 60 miles of trails
open in the Summer and Fall. The location site
is 8 miles west of Unity. The managing agency is
the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest Unity Ranger

BLUE RIDGE is located about 15 miles southeast
of Coos Bay. It is open year-round except stay
off the trails when they are wet Oct.-June. You
can contact the land managing agency for trail

CHETCO is located in the Southwestern corner of
Oregon and is open in the Spring, Summer, and
Fall. There are 2 trails available for Class III
ATV's. Chetco Gorge Trail is along the upper
Chetco River northeast of Brookings. Chimney
Camp Trail is located southeast of Brookings on
the Winchuck River. The managing agency is the

CHRISTMAS VALLEY SAND DUNES offer more than
8,000 acres of sand dunes. There are
opportunities for easy and difficult rides. The
season is year-round although muddy in the
winter. The location is approximately 80 miles
southeast of Bend and 80 miles north of Lakeview
near the town of Christmas Valley. The managing

CRANE MOUNTAIN offers 8 miles of Class I and
Class III trails during the Spring, Summer, and
Fall. It is located 10 miles south of Lakeview

COTTAGE GROVE is located about 35 miles
southeast of Cottage Grove. (Take I5 Exit 174
and head east on Row River Rd) and is open in
the Summer and Fall except when snowed out.
There are 3 available trails. The 4 mile Noonday
Wagon Road #1405 is open for Class I, II, and
III ATVs. Knott Trail #1417 is 3.9 miles long
and open to Class I, II, and III ATVs." and
Bohemia National Recreation Trail is open only

DIAMOND LAKE offers several trails for Class I
and Class III ATVs and are open in the Summer

EDISON BUTTE has 25 miles of difficult trails

ELLIOT RIDGE is located about 30 miles southwest

GALICE is located about 15 miles west of Grants
Pass near Galice on the Rogue River. It is open

HENDERSON FLAT offers 18 miles of trails from
easy to difficult and is open April-November.
The location from Terrebonne, take Highway 97
two miles north of the Crooked River Gorge. Turn
east on Park Lane for two miles and then take
Forest Road 57 for one mile to the staging area.

HONEYMAN STATE PARK is located 3 miles south of

HUCKLEBERRY FLATS has 33 miles of trails for

To get there take Westfir exit off Highway 58 at
MP 31. Then go Left after the (green) bridge
onto Westfir Road. Go past the red covered
bridge and continue for 14 (paved) miles on FS
Road 19 to Road 1928. Follow road to staging

KLAMATH SPORTSMAN'S PARK offers over 20 acres of
riding areas for Class I, II, and III ATVs and
is open year-round. The location .is about 20
miles southwest of Klamath Falls through the

MCCUBBINS GULCH offers 50 miles of motorcycle

MCGREW 4WD TRAIL offers 20 miles of 4WD trail
for the very experienced and is open year-round

The area is remote and should not be attempted
alone as there are lots of rock and mud. The

MILLICAN VALLEY has 256 miles of easy to
difficult trails. North Millican is open May-Nov
and has a play area and 3 staging area. South

of Bend on both sides of Hwy 20 near the town of

MT. BABER ATV TRAILS offer many trails and roads
for Class I and III ATVs and is open year-round

location is about 2 miles east of Eddyville.
Turn south on Deer Creek Rd. and follow signs.
From Elk City, go 5 miles on ElkCity-Harlan Rd.
to Updike Rd. go 2 miles north to Mt. Baber
staging area. You must have membership in the
Mt. Baber Club to ride the trails located on

SAND LAKE RECREATION AREA offers year-round
access with sand dunes and easy to difficult

about 17 miles southwest of Tillamook and 6
miles north of Pacific City. The managing agency

SANTIAM PASS is available in the summer but is
restricted to roads posted with orange dots in
burned area near Island Lake, Link Lake and
Cache Lake due to the fire in 2003. There are
signs and maps posted along Hwy 22 east of the
summit. 1,500 acres of trails and roads in the
Cascade Mountains for Class I, II and III ATVs.

and 50 miles west of Bend at Santiam pass on Hwy
