and Inner Tubing:
There are numerous lakes and rivers
available for waterskiing, wakeboarding,
or tubing. The following are the state
parks that are allow these activities.
Jessie M. Honeyman Memorial State Park
is located 3 miles south of Florence on
scenic Highway 101. This park being the
second largest overnight camp in the
state offers two miles of sand dunes
between
the
park and the ocean and two natural
freshwater lakes. Lake Woahink has a
public boat ramp.
Devils Lake State Recreation Area is
located minutes from downtown Lincoln
City.
The Cove Palaisades State Park
surrounds Lake Billy Chinook which is
located in the high desert region Off US
97, 15 miles SW of Madras.
Prineville Reservoir State Park is
located off US 26, 16 miles SE of
Prineville. 541-447-4363.
Jasper Point is located on
Prineville Reservoir 14 miles SE of
Prineville.
Heritage Landing is a popular for
jet boaters. It provides access to the
Deschutes and Columbia Rivers. The
location is off I-84, 17 miles E of The
Dalles.
Darby State Park is located on the
Historic Columbia River Highway, 4 miles
East of Troutdale.
Lewis and Clark State Recreation Site
is situated near the mouth of the Sandy
River where it flows into the Columbia
River. It is 16 miles East of Portland
off I-84.
Mayer State Park is located 10 miles
West of The Dalles off I-84.
Rooster Rock State Park is located
22 miles East of Portland off of I-84 at
exit 25.
Goose Lake State Recreation Area is
located 14 miles South of Lakeview.
Ontario State Recreation Site is
situated on the west bank of the
historic Snake River just 1 mile north
of Ontario.
Farewell Bend State Recreation Area,
is located on the Oregon/Idaho border 25
miles northwest of Ontario on the banks
of the Snake River's Brownlee Reservoir.
Unity Lake State Recreation Area is
located on OR 245, 50 miles E of John
